Scott P. Hazen has more than 35 years of legal experience and has successfully defended clients in a wide variety of litigation including: toxic/mass torts, product liability, personal injury, medical malpractice, construction defect, professional liability, employment, and creditors rights.
Scott has spent the majority of his career focusing on toxic torts/environmental, product liability, personal injury, and employment litigation. He has represented a wide variety of public and private sector companies including manufacturers, lenders, service providers, premises owners, suppliers, and distributors. Scott has successfully defended toxic exposure cases involving talc, asbestos, diacetyl, hydrogen sulfide; mortar/mixed dust, benzene, mineral spirits, silica, legionella, and other chemicals. Scott has also defended a number of fire damage cases involving refineries, oil field equipment, and land owners. In addition, Scott has extensive experience handling large dockets, and multi-district litigation.
